Took my teenage son, and I gotta say, both of us left the Vasa Museum feeling kinda wowed. The ship is HUGE in real life, way bigger than I imagined from pics. Our guide (Anna, I think?) was suuuper into the history, which made it way more fun—she legit answered my son’s random questions about cannons and sailors’ food. It was a bit crowded (guess we picked a busy day!), but we still managed to get good views. You can’t take pics super close up, but there’s plenty of angles for cool shots. Gift shop is pricey but picked up a magnet anyway. All in all, totally worth the visit!

Visited with friends, and we kept joking about the ship sinking on its first trip—like, how does that even happen?! Anyway, our guide explained all the technical stuff in a way we could actually get. The lighting inside makes the Vasa look dramatic and kinda spooky. There’s a spot on the upper floor with the best view for pics. We stayed longer than planned. Just a heads up: lockers for bags are super tiny, so don’t bring too much!

We went as a couple, mostly because my girlfriend LOVES ships. The museum is colder inside than I thought (bring a jacket, even in winter). The guide was very knowledgeable, but the group was a bit big so sometimes hard to hear. The Vasa itself? EPIC. So wild how much is preserved. Didn’t expect the little movie room at the start—def take 10 mins to watch it. Only downside: café was packed and not enough seats for a break.

I did the tour solo, and I’m not really a museum guy, but I LOVED this. The guide told all these juicy details about the sailors and what life was like back then (spoiler: kinda gross). I kept getting lost in the lower level—it's like a maze, lol. Took me longer than planned but didn’t mind. Staff at the entrance were super chill and friendly. Would 100% recommend, even if ur not into ships.

We visited with our young kids. Museum staff gave the little ones a treasure hunt sheet, which kept them busy looking for lions and crowns. Guide was engaging for adults and kids both. Gets loud in the main hall when there’s a school group, so be prepared. We loved the mini models showing how they rescued the ship.
