Very respectful of the original animation, great actors and actresses, live musicians and an amazing singer, the show is packed with so many wonderful ideas to keep it fresh for the entire duration Just come with a pack of tissues (it will make you laugh as much as it will make you cry) and a thick sweater, the drafts generated by the AC are uncomfortably freezing Theater staff was very welcoming too 💜

Beaucoup d'originalité dans la mise en scène, acteurs debordant d'une énergie communicative. Très fidèle à l'oeuvre. Le tout accompagné d'un superbe orchestre et d'une superbe cantatrice qui fait honneur aux chansons de l'anime!!! Les apparitions de Totoro (quelle taille!!) valent aussi largement le détour!!

Absolutely mesmerising! As a ghibili fan, I was really skeptical of the play but was wonderfully surprised by the entire experience. The stage design, clever use of props, all the actors and of course, lights and music! It was a truly heart warming and delightful evening 💕 (photos not allowed)

The story

Join sisters Satsuki and Mei as they move to their curious new home in the countryside. Exploring their unfamiliar surroundings, they soon encounter a world of spirits, spritesand magical creatures. Maybe it was all a dream? Or perhaps they really are now friends with the giant, ancient protector of the forest named 'Totoro' and his friend the 'Catbus'.

Very good show ! The whole experience from booking tickets to watching the show was brilliant. Nice merch at a reasonable price and food and drinks available! All aspects about the showi were faultless, no cringey moments or mishaps ! Recommend it vividly!

Suggested age for this show is 6+, but younger guests are welcome. The show will be quite long, quite loud in parts, and possibly scary for some younger children at times. Children need to occupy their own seats at all times throughout the performance. This production is not suitable for children under 4 years of age (including babes in arms).

Keep in mind, the theater is air-conditioned throughout the year and can get a bit chilly. Bring along a light jacket if needed.
