The Herculaneum ruins where spectacular and excavations have been done meticulously. The displays in the museum were very well presented and so interesting

The historical site was excellent but being an English speaker the instructions that we received were written in Italian. Also the numbers for the self guided audio tour did not correspond to numbers listed at the various locations at the site. It was only afterwards did I find that you have to download a site map from the park website and those numbers worked with the audio tour. A link on the instructions would have been very helpful. It was good weather and an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately some of the areas were closed to the public with ongoing work.

Booking this with the round-trip transfer was the absolute best decision. We didn't have to navigate the crowded local trains, and the air-conditioned coach was very comfortable. The timed entry ticket worked like a charm at the gate—we walked right past the ticket line. Herculaneum itself is so well preserved!

The transport was perfectly on time and the coordinator made the meeting point very easy to find. Seeing Herculaneum with a pre-booked slot is great because the crowds are thin. The carbonized wood structures and the mosaic floors are absolutely stunning. Highly recommend this transfer combo.

If you want a more intimate look at Roman life without walking miles in the sun, this is it. The ruins are compact but packed with details like intact second stories. The round-trip shuttle was smooth, though I wish we had just 30 extra minutes to browse the gift shop at the end.

Our driver was professional and the vehicle was pristine. Getting the timed-entry voucher in advance saved us so much time at the entrance. The skeletons discovered at the ancient boat houses (fornici) are deeply moving to see in person. Very organized package.
