Our tour guide, Adnan, was incredibly hospitable, professional, and accommodating throughout the entire trip. He has superb driving skills and made us feel safe and comfortable from start to finish. He was right on time when picking us up from our hotel and took great care of us throughout the night camp experience. He was always attentive to our needs and made sure everything went smoothly until he safely dropped us back at our hotel. We truly appreciate his excellent service and friendly attitude. We had an unforgettable desert safari experience in Dubai, all thanks to Mr. Saad! From the moment he picked us up at our hotel to the final drop off, he was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and professional. The dune bashing was incredible! His driving skills are top notch and gave us the ultimate thrill! On top of that, he was incredibly patient in taking our photos and even guided us with great pose ideas. If you are planning a desert safari, ask for Mr. Saad.He truly made our trip special!

This Dessert Safari was absolutely superb & great value for money. Muhammad Adnan was amazing. His driving skills top class & although fast & furious, we felt totally safe through the Dune Bashing experience. The evening ended with a most delicious & enjoyable BBQ dinner along with the Belly Dancing & Fire show after a serene Camel ride after the evening sunset. Highly recommend even at full price. Thank you, Shelley & Tony.

A fantastic experience from start to finish! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Red Dune Desert Safari was the highlight of our Dubai trip. The dune bashing was exciting, the desert views were stunning, and the BBQ dinner and live entertainment were excellent. Everything was well organized, and the camp had a great atmosphere. A special thanks to our guide, Ahmad, who was friendly, professional, and made the entire trip enjoyable. He explained everything clearly, drove safely while making the dune bashing exciting, and ensured everyone was comfortable throughout the tour. If you’re booking through Headout, I highly recommend this safari—and if you get Ahmad as your guide, you’re in great hands!

I had an amazing experience with Adventure Desert Safari! Everything was perfectly organized from the hotel pickup to the drop-off. The dune bashing was thrilling, the desert views were absolutely breathtaking, and the camp atmosphere was fantastic. The entertainment shows, delicious BBQ dinner, camel ride, and overall hospitality made the evening truly unforgettable. An evening Dubai desert safari with shared 4WD pickup, dune bashing, camel ride, BBQ buffet dinner, and live shows at a Bedouin camp.

Getting started

Your experience begins with shared 4x4 hotel pickup from Dubai or Sharjah, where a professional desert driver and guide welcomes you on board. The shared 4WD with hotel pickup drop-off then leaves the city behind and heads toward the open desert, giving you time to relax before the off-road section begins.

Dune bashing and arrival activities

What to expect

The first stop is the dune area, where your 4x4 moves off-road for a 30 to 45 minutes 4x4 dune bashing session across the sand. A sunset photo stop in the Dubai Desert lets you take in the changing colors before you continue with a short camel ride and try your balance on a sandboarding experience.

30–45 minutes 4x4 dune bashing takes you over rolling dunes at varied speeds, led by your professional desert driver and guide.

A camel ride and sandboarding experience are included at the dunes, giving you time both on the animals and on the boards.

You pause at a scenic point for a sunset photo stop in the Dubai Desert before driving on to the camp.

What to expect

After the dune activities, you continue to a traditional Bedouin-style desert camp where the evening unfolds around food and entertainment. You settle in with Arabic coffee, tea and dates, then explore different activity corners before the BBQ buffet dinner and stage shows begin.

Access to a traditional Bedouin-style desert camp includes areas for seating, live performances, and activity stations.

At the camp you can get simple designs at the henna painting area while you sip from unlimited soft drinks, water, tea and coffee.

The BBQ buffet dinner with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options is served from a central counter so you can choose your plate.

Live Tanoura dance, fire show and belly dance performances take place on the main stage during the evening.

Clean restroom facilities are available throughout your time at the camp.

Wrapping up

Once the shows conclude and you are ready to leave, your driver guides you back to the shared 4WD. The return shared 4WD with hotel pickup drop-off service then takes you back to your hotel in Dubai or Sharjah.

What's not allowed

Alcohol inclusion: Your ticket does not include alcoholic beverages, and any drinks ordered must be paid for separately.

Motorized rides: Quad bike and dune buggy rides are not included; you can purchase them on-site at an extra cost.

Falcon photos: Falcon photography is not part of your ticket and will incur additional charges if you choose it.
