• Smoking, food and beverages, umbrellas, prams, child carriers, strollers, suitcases, and other large items are not allowed inside the venue.

• Pets are not permitted due to venue policies.

• Flash photography is strictly prohibited.

• Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

1-hour canal cruise

• Pets are not allowed on board.

• Strollers are not permitted for safety reasons, but can be stored at the departure point before boarding.

• The venue is wheelchair accessible and includes accessible restroom facilities.

• Two wheelchairs are available on-site (first-come, first-served).

• One companion may enter free of charge for visitors requiring assistance; advance arrangement is required.

• Due to strong lighting and sound effects, visits with children under 3 are not recommended.

• Guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

• The main exhibition space includes 40 seats; foldable chairs can be borrowed at the entrance if needed.

• Some light effects may not be suitable for individuals with epilepsy or vertigo.

1-hour canal cruise

• This experience is not wheelchair accessible.

Fabrique des Lumières

• The narration is in English with Dutch subtitles.

• Tickets are valid only for the selected date and time; late entry is permitted up to 30 minutes after the start time (except for the final slot of the day).

• Recommended for children aged 6 and above; children under 5 require a free ticket.

• The venue is cashless and accepts card and digital payments, including credit card, iDEAL, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.

• Family rates and group bookings are available; Stadspas and press card benefits apply as per venue rules.

• Parking is available at Q-Park Westergasfabriek, approximately a 10-minute walk from the venue.

• Multiple exhibitions may run simultaneously, with the lineup rotating over time.

• Exhibition timings from 26 June until 17 September 2026 (daily):

  • 9:30am - 11:30am (Dutch Masters)

  • 12 noon - 2:30pm (Prehistoric Planet)

  • 3pm - 6pm (Gustav Klimt)

• Facilities: lockers, a cloakroom, and restrooms.

1-hour canal cruise

• Children aged 3 and under can join for free; ages 4–12 receive discounted tickets (€12.50), while those over 12 pay the adult rate.

• Boats are fully covered, ensuring a comfortable ride in all weather conditions.

• An English audio guide plays by default; for other languages, scan the QR code on board and connect via free Wi-Fi on your smartphone.

• Please bring your own earphones; they are also available for purchase on-site for €1.50.

• Routes may vary due to municipal work, offering slightly different highlights on each journey.

• Some experiences may include alcoholic beverages; availability is subject to age restrictions and local laws—please carry a valid ID and drink responsibly.
