Over 90 minutes, leave the busy Royal Mile behind and follow your guide into silent graveyard lanes and beneath the streets into stone vaults. At each stop, the stories unfold exactly where the events once took place.

Getting Started

Meet your guide on the Royal Mile at Lawnmarket, surrounded by stone buildings and street performers. After a quick ticket check and short safety briefing, the group sets off through the Old Town. The tour finishes near the Niddry Street vaults.

What To Expect

Walk through Greyfriars Graveyard, hear stories of body snatchers and Covenanters Prison, then descend into the Niddry Street vaults and visit a historic witches’ stone circle linked to chilling local legends.
