Our tour guide on the bus and in Salzburg were excellent, and the bus driver made us feel very safe on the road. It was a nice visit to Hallstadt and Salzburg. We considered taking the train and figuring it out ourselves but I'm glad to have had a guided tour.

Hallstatt was such a memorable and beautiful place. Our guide also gave us very informative and interesting explanations throughout the tour. We really enjoyed the experience.

Trip guide Olga was excellent guide - very informative and helpful. Trip driver was great. Overall, really good value for money and time. Our family enjoyed this tour!

The bus was right on time at every location, good organisation but I would have appreciated a little more than 30 minute stop at Melk, and a bit shorter in Hallstatt but maybe that's just me. The guide Olga has a strong accent and it was hard for me to follow what she was saying in English. Also the content could be a little more structured and engaging to keep the attention of the group. And finally, in Salzburg the listening devices were not working properly, many people in the group could not listen to the local guide.

What to bring

Have your ID ready for a seamless experience.

Bring comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, as you will spend time outdoors in different cities and alpine areas.

Bring light snacks and water for the journey. Eating on the bus is allowed as long as it does not disturb other guests.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not permitted on the tour vehicle.

Pets are not allowed, except for registered service animals.

Smoking, alcohol, and drugs are strictly prohibited on the bus and during the tour.

The tour departs from Tourist Info at Albertina Platz, A-1010 Vienna. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before departure and check in with the 7Travel agency official.

The tour ends at Vienna State Opera, Albertinaplatz.

Depending on group size, transport may be by minivan with a driver-guide or by bus with a licensed guide.

Note: The guided tour is only available in English.

You may leave the group in Salzburg and return to Vienna at your own expense by train.
