Pro tips to help you make a pick

Standard entry is the base ticket: it covers the outdoor model areas and general indoor spaces. Audio guide tickets or app/device-enabled visits cost more but usually make the visit closer to 2–3 hours instead of a quick photo walk.

About Istanbul Miniatürk

Miniatürk is a geographic shortcut through Turkey and former Ottoman lands rather than a single-subject museum. In one outdoor circuit, you move from Istanbul monuments to Cappadocia, Mount Nemrut, Safranbolu, and Mostar Bridge, with plaques and optional audio adding context. The combination of regional range, open-air walking paths, and family facilities gives it a different format from indoor attractions.

Did you know?

Miniatürk opened in 2003 and is operated by Kültür A.Ş., a company of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, so it was created as a civic cultural project rather than a private theme park.

Why visit Istanbul Miniatürk?

Walk Among ~137 Models at 1:25 Scale

Miniatürk brings together ~137 detailed models built at 1:25 scale, letting you cover major sites from across Turkey and former Ottoman lands in a single visit. The park is designed as a self-guided loop, so you can compare very different structures in one walk without leaving Istanbul.

Main Entrance (İmrahor Caddesi Gate)

Located at the main gate on İmrahor Caddesi, on the upper side of the site facing the Golden Horn, this is the entrance used by all visitors arriving by bus, taxi, or car. The gate has ticket booths and turnstiles, and online or mobile tickets are generally scanned here; some third-party vouchers may need validation at a ticket window before entry. Basic bag checks may take place before or after ticketing. From the coastal-road bus stop, follow the signs and walk up a short, mild slope to the gate. Once inside, paths are mostly paved and fairly flat, making the park manageable for strollers and wheelchairs, though taxi drop-off is easier for visitors with limited mobility.
