What an unforgettable experience! Our sunset climb over The O2 was made even more special by our fantastic guide, Theo. He was friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring throughout, making sure everyone felt safe, relaxed and able to enjoy the spectacular views. The Prosecco at the top as the sun set over London was the perfect touch. To top it all off, Ariana Grande was performing the final night of her run at The O2 beneath our feet—making an already brilliant evening feel completely magical. A unique London experience that we would thoroughly recommend. Thank you, Theo!

My Grandson asked if we could go. I checked into it and booked online. The guide was brilliant, helpful, patient and informative. The experience is definitely one to remember. The views from the top are amazing with views from the Greenwich Observatory to the Olympic Park and beyond.

Abbie (apologises if ive spelt your name wrong!) was a lovely guide, so friendly, happy and enthusatic even though it was the end of the day and it was cold at the top she maintained a positive attitude. 😊 you are doing a great job!

Up at the O2 was a fantastic experience. Everything was clearly explained and our guide Josh was great and funny. The view was magnificent, and the complimentary informations from our guide were a great addition to the panels.

The climb itself was really thrilling, after reaching the top I got to see the horizon with a sunset which was really stunning. Also, the staff were really nice and made the occasion really memorable.

We throughly enjoyed the 02 climb. We did the sunset package and it was so worth it! The skyline was orange it was magical.

Xavier was our guide, and was brilliant 👏 👌 Very friendly, thought the whole presentation , from harnessing everybody, group talks, information throughout was great. Talk at top of the O2 was very interesting and well delivered . Well done Xavier. My only criticism about the whole thing was the drinks !!! I paid £8 each for champagne. It was advertised at the ticket booth as Lanson Champagne, showing miniature bottles. On delivery at the top you get 1 bottle between 2 of Prosecco !!! ??? But misleading and felt a bit ripped off to be honest

Arrive at the Up at The O2 base near the main entrance, where staff will check your ticket and provide a safety briefing. You’ll be fitted with a climb suit and harness before meeting your climb guide, who will outline the route and answer any questions.

What to expect

Up at The O2 Climb

Up at The O2 offers a guided outdoor climb over the world-famous O2 Arena, a landmark on London’s skyline since 2000. The experience lets you walk across a specially designed walkway, suspended above the arena’s roof, for a unique perspective of the city.

Features:

360° viewing platform: Reach the summit and take in panoramic views stretching up to 15 miles on clear days, with landmarks like historic Greenwich, Canary Wharf, and the Olympic Park in sight.

Guided climb: Knowledgeable guides lead each group, sharing insights about the O2’s architecture and the surrounding cityscape.

Multiple climb options: Choose from Daytime, Sunset, or Twilight climbs, each offering a distinct atmosphere and lighting as you cross the roof.

Safety gear provided: All climbers receive a climb suit, harness, and safety equipment, ensuring a secure and comfortable experience throughout.

Winter special: Elevate your winter climb! From Nov 21, 2025, to Jan 4, 2026, every climb ticket includes complimentary access to the festive Snow Globe Experience waiting for you right on top of The O2.

What to bring

Trousers are the best choice for this experience, allowing for a proper fit of the safety harness.

What’s not allowed

Safety is a priority, so this experience is restricted for guests under the age of 8 years, under the height of 1.2m (3.94ft), and over the weight of 130kg (286.60lb), with a maximum waist measurement of 125cm, and a maximum upper thigh measurement of 75cm.

This experience is restricted for guests under the influence of alcohol or legal or illegal substances.

Accessibility

Pregnant people are restricted from participating in this experience.

Additional information

A minimum supervision ratio of 1:5 is mandated, with one adult for every five children aged under 18 years.

You must arrive 15 mins before your climb time as latecomers cannot be admitted.

From Nov 21, 2025 to Jan 4, 2026, all climbs will include access to the festive Snow Globe Experience on the roof of The O2.
