We were a group of 7 with two separate bookings, and the team was incredibly kind to merge our reservations so we could share the entire experience together. A huge shoutout to one of our drivers, Ronald—he is a truly wonderful person with a big heart and amazing energy. For the jeep ride, Wilhelma was our driver and guide; he was so sweet and shared a lot of interesting facts with us along the way. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side, so we didn't get a clear view of the sunrise. However, the rest of the tour more than made up for it! We were completely blown away by the immense expanse of the Black Lava. Riding the ATV quads through the volcanic landscape was an absolute blast and we had so much fun. We also really enjoyed the visit to the coffee plantation. It was super interesting to learn about the coffee-making process, see a Luwak, and enjoy a delicious tasting of various local coffees and teas. Throughout the whole trip, every single person we met was genuinely kind, welcoming, and ready to answer any questions we had. Highly recommended!

We are a party of over 70's and we all had a wonderful day. From the moment we were picked up at 2.45 am to the time we were dropped off at 3pm the adventure was as advertised. Our 1st driver was easy to talk to and explained what would happen on the trip. Our 4x4 driver was polite and very helpful. He took some photo's of us and got us a good vantage point for the sunrise. The sunrise was spectacular, the black lava was interesting. We then went to the hot spring complex. We were told there were 6 pools but we only went in 2. The water is a bit above my bath temperature but quiet enjoyable, then the last stop, the coffee plantation. We tasted the free samples but declined to purchase the other one. Overall, it was a long day but enjoyable. Would recommend the trip, but be warned, you have to climb up and then into the back of the jeep. No easy thing for the not so young.

Sehr gute Tour, sehr gute und allseits bemühte Fahrer, die den Ausflug sehr angenehm gestaltet haben. Depa kam Pünktlich und kündigte sich zuvor via WhatsApp an. Beim Batur angekommen übernahm uns Konyes, welcher uns einzigartige Fotos machte und uns rundum versorgte. Nach der Black Lava wartete bereits Depa wieder auf uns und brachte uns zu den nächsten Spots. Er war ein sehr guter Fahrer sodass wir auch im Auto schlafen konnten, da die Nacht sehr kurz ausfiel. Er fragte uns auch wo wir schon waren um nicht nochmals die selben Orte anzufahren. Machte ebenfalls sehr gute Fotos von uns und umsorgte uns auch bestens. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Without a doubt, the absolute highlight of our time in Bali! Wardana is a true 10/10 driver and guide. He took us to Mount Batur, waited patiently for us while we relaxed at the Batur Natural Hot Spring, drove us to sample Luwak coffee, and brought us safely back to Ubud. He is incredibly kind, welcoming, and easy to talk to -we had great conversations with him throughout the entire trip. You can tell he truly cares about giving his guests the best experience possible. Meeting him was the best part of our Bali trip. We can't recommend Wardana enough! Thank you for everything!

We had a great time on Mount Batur. Ismail was polite, communicating very well and safe driver. He made sure our trip to Mount Batur and return back to the resort was pleasant. He went above and beyond in accommodating our special request to stop at the cafe in Kintamani. Putra was also amazing. He took us in the jeep to watch the sunrise and then to lava rocks and dropped us off at the hotel springs. Overall, we highly recommend this team to everyone looking for Mount Batur sunrise activities.

The tour is wonderful; we chose the option that included hotel pickup and drop-off. After being picked up by the initial driver, we were taken to a meeting point where we were handed over to another driver who took us up Mount Batur in a Jeep. The drive through the natural landscape was fun. Once on the mountain, we waited for the sunrise, and our driver took some beautiful photos of us—he was truly excellent! After witnessing a spectacular sunrise, we headed to the "Black Lava" area—a vast expanse left by an old eruption. Afterward, we were taken to the hot springs to warm up and relax. From there, our first driver returned to take us to a coffee plantation for a tasting session—a really great experience! A special mention goes to the driver, who was punctual, friendly, and the most honest person I have ever met in my life (I had left my wallet in his car, and he brought it back to us); I can't thank him enough!

We had such an amazing tour! The sunrise was perfect and the staff made us feel so happy and comfortable. Prapte picked us up from our villa in Ubud and drove us the hour all the way to Mt Batur. Once there we met our driver Cipto, who took us for tea/coffee/water and biscuits. From there he did an amazing job of driving my 3 year old son to the sunset viewing area. He took some amazing pictures/videos and provided breakfast. He was very skilled at driving and gave us some interesting knowledge about the area and what we were seeing. Once the tour was finished he dropped us back to Prapte, who took us to the coffee tasting. We had such a fun time and he offered to take us to a lunch spot before going home but we needed to get back to the villa for a nap. Such a great experience, would definitely recommend 🙏

The tour was very nice. The car that picked us was slightly uncomfortable, but everything else was amazing. Our tour (MR Jhaq) was an amazing and funny guy. He also took amazing pictures!

Der Jeepfahrer, Ryan, war der Hammer! Er macht den Job mit Herzblut und schaut sehr gut auf seine "Schützlinge". 5 Sterne! Wira, der Fahrer, war ebenfalls super! Er ist auch über sich hinausgegangen. Hat sich einiges überlegt und uns überrascht. Auch hier 5 Sterne! Danke beiden tollen Fahrern! Der Sonnenaufgang und das Lavafeld sind absolut schön, interessant und empfehlenswert. Die Kaffeedegustation ist ok, wenn man das noch nie gemacht hat und gerne einen Luwakkaffee probieren möchte. Allerdings ist er nicht gratis, wie einem weissgemacht werden will. Ist aber bezahlbar. Natürlich ist das auch keine Plantage und auch wird dort der Kaffee nicht hergestellt. Das ist alles Show für die Touristen. Wie es tatsächlich zu und her geht mit den Luwak Katzen kann man sich nur denken... von daher sollte das in meinen Augen nicht unterstützt werden. 0 Punkte gibt es ganz klar für die Hot Springs. So etwas ekelhaftes, schmutziges, unhygienisches und ungepflegtes haben wir in unserem Leben noch nie gesehen. Dass dort noch Touristen hingebracht werden, ist eine verdammte Frechheit von den Betreibern! Duschen alle komplett, aber komplett, verschimmelt, die WC-Anlagen, ohne zu übertreiben, bestimmt schon über Jahre nicht mehr gereinigt worden. Die "Matten" am Boden oder was davon noch übrig ist, grün, schmutzig und schleimig. Aussen keine Duschen. Alle gehen also ungeduscht in den Pool. In den Umkleidekabinen hat es so von den Leuten, die sich umgezogen haben, gestunken als hätten die sich schon seit Wochen nicht mehr gewaschen. Und alle gehen dann in die Pools... diese Anlage sollte geschlossen werden!!! Wir sind nicht baden gegangen!

We booked the Mount Batur Sunrise Guided Jeep Tour with Black Lava Exploration, Breakfast & Hotel Transfers and were extremely happy with the experience. Maharata picked us up reliably from our hotel and took us safely to the meeting point. He was a very friendly and kind driver, and we had some great conversations along the way. He also gave us some wonderful recommendations for the rest of our holiday – including some real insider tips that we are very grateful for. After the tour, Maharata also picked us up again from the hot springs and drove us safely back to our hotel. He was reliable, helpful and made us feel very well taken care of throughout the whole trip. Watching the sunrise on Mount Batur was definitely one of the highlights of our Bali holiday. Ahn drove us safely up the mountain in his Jeep in the dark and found a fantastic spot for us where we could enjoy the sunrise with a beautiful view. The whole experience was very well organized, and we always felt safe and comfortable. A big thank you to Maharata and Ahn for making this such a memorable experience! We would absolutely recommend this tour.
