Getting started

Meet at Estádio da Luz and join the guided stadium tour in English or Portuguese. Tours run hourly, subject to availability, and are limited to 30 people. The Museum is self-guided.

Go behind the scenes of SL Benfica’s home stadium and explore spaces usually reserved for players, coaches and media.

Features:

Follow the route the team takes to matches as you make your way toward the pitch at the Stadium of Light. You also get to sit where players and coaches have faced the media for post-match reactions and major announcements.

All along, your expert guide in a choice of two languages accompanies you, regaling you with stories about the club's history and legacy.

Visit the Cosme Damião Museum on a self-guided tour across three floors and 29 thematic areas, with around 1,000 pieces covering the club’s history.

Regardless of which tour you choose, you get to take home an official club scarf as a souvenir.

What to bring

ID & voucher: Carry a valid government-issued ID along with a digital voucher on the day of your visit.

Comfortable shoes: Wear comfortable walking shoes as you'll be spending most of your time on your feet.

What's not allowed

Luggage: Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not permitted inside the stadium or museum.

Food & drinks: Food and drinks are not allowed inside the premises.

Flash photography: Flash photography is prohibited at the stadium, and especially at the museum. You're only allowed to take pictures for personal use.

Pets: Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Smoking: Smoking, including e-cigarettes, drinking, and any form of drugs, is strictly prohibited within the stadium and museum.

Walking on the pitch: Stepping on the pitch or the grass is not allowed during your tour of the museum.

Accessibility

Wheelchair access: The stadium and museum have ramps and elevators available, making it wheelchair accessible.

Wheelchair loans: You can also loan a wheelchair for use at the stadium and museum, subject to signing a liability waiver.

Additional information

Match days: The stadium remains inaccessible on match days, so make sure to check the stadium's schedule before booking your tickets.

European match days: On European soccer match days, stadium visits are also not possible 2 days before and 1 day after the game.

Companion for visitors with reduced mobility: If you're a person with reduced mobility, you must always have a companion with you, and they can accompany you free of cost.
