Balloon ride itself was incredible, we paid more for the premium tickets through which I wouldn't recommend - we were advertised private transfer, didn't get that; refreshments - didn't get that; motorboat crossing - didn't get that; and the photographers were really nice but it wasn't "in-flight" photography because they stayed on the ground and just added in stock footage from the balloons. My tip would be to just buy the normal tickets, the minibus pickup is fine and the point is the balloon ride not the extras (which you might not get anyway)

The view of the Nile River in the morning sun was amazing. The basket we boarded was opposite the Valley of the Kings, so we could not see much of the ruins. However, the views other than the ruins were wonderful enough, so I was very satisfied.
