We arrived at Luxor Temple around 9 a.m. and spent an hour there before walking along the Avenue of the Sphinxes to Karnak Temple, where we spent two hours. It wasn’t too crowded, but we expected that given the time of year. The sites are fantastic and very well preserved. I highly recommend booking online through this platform, which, as I recall, allows you to view your tickets even when you’re offline.

The tour guide Hamed was excellent very informative, and gave us a lot of information, he looked after the group and guided us through everything. The 2 drivers who were with us for the day were also lovely, sorry I have forgotten their names.

A really well-organized tour, with an enthusiastic guide who gave some really interesting explanations. At Karnak, we were shown and told how the ceilings and columns were built and how the obelisks were erected. At the Valley of the Kings, we were able to use go-karts to get from the entrance to the various tombs and were given plenty of time to look at the various inscriptions. Finally, at Deir el-Bahari, the guide also offered to take some photos of us and explained in detail the history behind the construction of the temple and the rise of the queen, so there was a lot of interesting information. I also really appreciated the various drinks and snacks offered during the tour, and the restaurant where we had lunch served good quality food. The bus rides were quite comfortable, and the driver drove well. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the somewhat forced offer of a boat trip on the Nile (the description said it would be free, but instead we were involved in a 30-minute trip at an additional cost of €10).
