A brilliant way for first time visitors to orientate your way about the vast City of Istanbul and the commentary is good. Once you have completed the first circuit you get to realise how close the major sights are to each other. .......and because of Istanbul's heavy traffic it is quicker to walk between sights sometimes. The bus does seem to stop for long intervals at some stops presumably to keep in line with the published timetable. I would recommend at least a day pass and then once you have a first sighting of where everything is you can pretty much get around by yourself OR try to tackle the City's Tram/Metro system!

Istambul is a very beautiful city. We had a good weather that day. i had started the tour at the Plaza Taksim and when we got to the SultanAhmed station, we waited at the bus for almost 45 min to restart again. Afterwards in another sation I waited for over an hour for the bus to show up at the station until I decided to give up and left to walk on my own. The price I paid on line was much higher than at the boot. In summary, it was not a pleasant experience.
