The routes were amazing. You could really see all the beauty of Tokyo. Definitely arrive early and take your time on each route. Our favorite part was the Tokyo tower stop, the view from the bus was breathtaking, loved it so so much. ❤️❤️ You can hop on at any bus stop but I recommend to check in the interactive map first where exactly is the stop because we lost so much time looking for the stop with the writen instructions rather than clicking the map 🤦🏻‍♀️ (it directs u to ggmaps). Overall awesome experience 100%recommend. (Ps: make sure the ticket u buy is valid to change to a different day within the month or season and not an specific day in case the Tokyo weather decides to show its ugly side haha)

We couldn't use the green route, where our hotel was, to connect to the red route, the main tourist route. This was because we would have had to have waited several hours for the green route bus. We had to use the metro instead. Apart from that, the service was good. But consequently not awesome.

A great way to get familar with the surrounding areas around Shinjuku. Very worthwhile! There was one bus that didn't have much covered seating on the top deck and one of the front monitors wasn't working. Such a shame being that it was a premium seat; good for a child/toddler who had no interest in the narration. Otherwise, would recommend highly.

Good to see Tokyo above ground and see areas of interest easily. Schedules did not allow us to hop off and experience the areas quickly (i.e. 30 minutes) to allow more stops. When we did get off for Asaskusa, it was not clear how to get to the 2nd Asakusa pick up point. We spent more time navigating back than at the actual site to ensure we did not miss our pick- up.

Know Before You Go

Important Information

The audio guide is available in Chinese, English, Spanish, Japanese, German, Korean and French.
Seats are not reserved for the Sky Hop Bus. Depending on the congestion at the bus stop, you may be asked to fill up your seat.
Traffic congestion may cause the bus to be delayed.
Passenger seats are only on the second floor, the first floor is for storage.
There is no air-conditioning on the bus, the bus is an open deck.

Restrictions

Raincoats will be distributed if needed. Note that the use of umbrellas on board the bus is prohibited.
If the weather is severe, as in the case of typhoons or thunderstorms, the tour may not operate.
The hop-on hop-off bus does not work with reservations. If there are no free seats on the bus, please board the next bus.
Standing is prohibited while the bus is in motion.
