I enjoyed the tour and it was a good way to see Prague, but I had expected more. The 24-hour ticket was somewhat misleading to me. We started around 10:00, but the last buses were running at around 16:15. I understood the 24-hour ticket as meaning that we would be able to use the hop-on hop-off buses for 24 hours, so I was disappointed to discover that the buses stopped running much earlier. Some of the bus staff also seemed quite stressed and were not always very helpful when I asked for directions. Overall, I had higher expectations, especially since I have had a better experience with the same type of bus tour in Budapest.

We have done many hop on and hop off tours in different cities. For Prague it was dull and uninteresting. Seemed to be more time listening to music than hearing interesting facts about the city. More time should be spent giving more history and details about the city. Also the tour did not reflect great areas to visit like Mala Strana. Also the exchange between blue and red lines was too long a wait.

First, on Day 1, you wait a good two hours for the Red Tour bus, only to end up taking the Blue Tour back. Then on Day 2, I wanted to take the bus to Stadium 1 at 4:25 p.m., but what did the driver do? He only went as far as Stadium 7, saying it was the last trip, even though the schedule says the last trip is at 5:35 p.m. Another family and I had to figure out how to get to the other end of Prague. This kind of thing just isn’t acceptable, especially for people with mobility impairments.

Waited for Hop-on Hop-off bus at designated stop on red route, but bus never came. Next day discovered bus was on diversion and missed out stop 3 altogether. No signs up to say stop not in use and operator provided no prior warning to say bus would not be stopping at stop. Had to order an Uber to take me and my party back safely to our hotel.
