You can see just about everything from walking. Not especially helpful for our group. We thought we would be nearer to the Fortress access per the schedule. There is a disclamer that routes change.

The bus arrived 20 minutes late, for the money it's not worth taking the bus. You could have done most of it on foot and with the Salzburg Mobility Card. The audio guide on board was ok.
