Last week
We had SUCH a blast on the wine tram! Went with my sister and honestly, the whole day felt like a movie. We started early (def recommend that, it gets busy by noon), and hopped on the green line. Our fave stop was Rickety Bridge – the cheese platter was massive, and the view...wow. Only weird bit: there was a group that got a lil too loud but the staff handled it super chill. If you love wine and pretty places, you’ll LOVE this. Bring sunscreen, we totally forgot and now my nose is pink.

Fabulous views, super chill staff, and so many wine choices! We were a group of 4 friends and wanted to do something different than just city stuff. Best decision ever. The only downside—lines to get on the tram at first stop were long, but after that it all flowed pretty well. Would 100% go again.

I went solo and it was a fun way to meet people! Some of the vineyards are kinda packed but staff keep things moving. Tram itself is a bit bumpy so hang on to your glass lol. Would’ve liked more time at each estate but overall, def worth the price. Weather was perfect, sunny but not toooo hot.

Came with my partner, we booked the purple line. Every place had friendly staff and the wine portions are generous. The tram is quirky and makes for good pics, but you can’t take pics inside one of the estates (forgot which, sorry!). My partner doesn’t even love wine but still had a great day.

We had a family group (kids ages 7 and 10) and they actually enjoyed it! Lots of space to run around at some stops, and the grape juice option is a cute touch. The bus drivers are super friendly. Kids got a bit bored after vineyard #3, so maybe 2-3 stops is enough if you’ve got little ones.

The final departure point is the V&A Waterfront Tour office. Other pick-up points might be available depending on feasibility.

This is a hop-on hop-off tour, not a guided tour.

The activities on the Red line require pre-booking directly with the estates. Check the route map for more information.

Red, Blue, and Pink routes operate until April 2026; only the Navy route runs from 1 May 2026.
