Located in the West Kowloon Cultural District, the museum consists of nine galleries and houses almost 1,000 precious relics from the Palace Museum in Beijing, including the dragon robe donned by Qing Emperor Kangxi and the Nymph of the Luo River, which are must-see artifacts that you can't afford to miss out on.

China's architectural genius

The museum's 'vertical center axis,' inspired by Beijing's central axis, is one of its notable architectural features. Vertical links between the floors, which help people move upward, have been created with the help of the three atriums, each facing a different direction. Visitors can enjoy views of the Hong Kong Island skyline, the entrance plaza, and Lantau Island from the atriums and enjoy the museum's synergy with its environment.
