One-Way Hong Kong Airport Express Tickets [Direct Entry QR Code]

Instruction in App for round trip ticket Airport-Hong Kong-Airport are not clear and you have to list it down through entire app to find. The staff sitting at cashier in Airport asked me (literally) "what is it" when I have shown them a app; whoch means even your own staff have no idea what you selling and how it work. They have to list through the app and only after they told me "scan ticket at exit". In many countries people use to scan at entry and at exit, hence if you system work "scan at exit" - it must be right at start. Also it is confusing that you only scanning at exit when moving from airport to central, but when you going back - now you have to scan at central. This all must be explained much more clear, as you are dealing with people who are tired after long flight and have no idea how your system works.

It's not clear which website is the official site, I paid more than was listed on the MTR website, but the MTR made it unclear how to select and pay for tickets, and when purchasing there was not a clear option for same-day round trip, so I ended up spending $100 more than I needed to getting a non-same-day round trip. The actual experience of taking the train was efficient, but everything else was very inefficient and poorly, poorly designed.

An excellent, easy to use service, but the QR codes that came in on the app didn't open the gates. A very helpful Hong Kong Metro supervisor told us to retrieve the original Headout email, and from that, click the PDF button. This produces 2 different QR codes (amidst a lot of Chinese writing), which actually open the gates when tapped on the gate monitor. It would be useful to know you use the QR codes on leaving the train, not to get on it.

Punctual and courteous service. Excellent in every way. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and always helpful. If I have to travel again, I’ll choose this airline.
