Amazing place to visit and the staff were very helpful, i have hearing aids and they explained how the multimedia system works with them, this enables you to hear about the Palace and the history on the easy to use hand held screen this allows you to go into each room and listen to the story of everything at your own pace and not rushing around to follow a tour guide but there are attendees in every room if you have any questions who are happy to help

The audio guides made the visit so engaging; they even had a special kids’ version, which was such a hit with my five-year-old. He hasn’t stopped talking about Bonnie Prince Charlie ever since! The palace itself is beautifully preserved and full of fascinating history, and the grounds are immaculate, perfect for wandering and taking in the views. All in all, a truly wonderful experience that felt both educational and enjoyable for the whole family.

When I presented my receipt at the lodge they handed me the tickets without further ado. And I did not have to wait. However, the description on the app was not very precise. After having read on TripAdvisor that Headout is a scam I was therefore was a bit worried. Luckily for no reason it turned out.

I loved seeing the Scottish home of the royal family and was grateful to hear the audio in Portuguese. Delighted with the conservation of the rooms and gardens. Good to know that we were able to witness the existence of this place and see how everything is so well preserved and protected.

Unfortunately, buying the ticket was not as I had imagined. I thought I would get a barcode and that would be the entrance fee. That wasn't the case and I still had to queue at the ticket office.
