Receive a briefing on cetaceans, methods of their sighting, safety rules, and the code of ethics for whale watching in the Azores. The tour will then begin and take you along the magnificent Terceira Island to enjoy the stunning scenery and observe the various cetacean species in their natural habitat.
While cruising along the coast, observe dolphins and whales in their natural habitat. The guide will find the best spots to sight the cetaceans. The Vigia, binoculars with the long-range capability to search for whales and dolphins from a high ground point and transmit information to the boats, will keep an eye out for any activity in the distance. A truly unforgettable experience awaits you as they jump, swim, and dive alongside the boat.
After successful sightings, visit the Ilhéu das Cabras, an exclusive area of Terceira Island only accessible by sea. This area is a special protection area due to its unique natural beauty and rich biodiversity. Here, observe the local wildlife and enjoy the picturesque scenery. Next, the boat will return to Angra do Heroísmo, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant (at your expense).
