We decided to take this tour with a private guide so we could add a couple of extra stops. Our local guide, Manal, got in touch the day before to confirm everything (the time and meeting place). She was punctual and well-prepared to lead our group on a tour of the sites we’d chosen. She was friendly and always ready to answer any questions we had. A wonderful tour with our guide Tarek, who speaks Italian very well. We were two families with children, and he was very attentive to our needs. The itinerary was followed exactly, though we spent more time at the GEM in the afternoon because it’s truly massive; in exchange, he added a visit to the Papyrus Museum and a shop selling perfumes made from lotus and various spices. We skipped the Bazaar due to time constraints, but by then we were tired, so we didn’t mind it particularly. Highly recommended.

I booked a private, full-day tour of the Pyramids at Giza, the Sphinx, and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Ibrahim was great. He was friendly, and since it was just me with him, it seemed like I was walking around and visiting with a friend, though one who was very knowledgeable about ancient history. If you let him know there are things you want to take your time with, he can be responsive to that. He has good advice about how to plan the tour so that you visit the key spots before crowds are too large. These sites are a lot to fit into one day, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, when they close early. Some group tours can be really rushed, but with the private one, you can have more flexibility to choose where you spend more time. I recommend Ibrahim!

We were rushed through the tour it took us 45 minutes to go through the Egyptian grand museum which is usually about 2 1/2 hours tour, lunch was okay not the greatest, and the shops that we where taken to want to rob you blind, if I didn't know better we where going to spend a lot money for the same thing that you can get for at least half the price anywhere else
