    The perfect itinerary for exploring the region, offering a great balance of scenery, history, cuisine, and wine. Miguel was an excellent guide with extensive knowledge of the region that goes far beyond what you’d learn on any other tour; he’s very friendly and passionate about his work.     Cruise is exactly what we needed. Just a quick tour up the river and back from a convenient location near the WOW museums. Boats leave at regular intervals. Check with the tourism office if you can't find the dock (there are a few of them and the names might be different). I'd take the last one to catch the sunset.

    In just a few hours, you’ll see the highlights of Porto: the Clérigos Tower, São Bento Station (stunning), the Cathedral, the Luís I Bridge… and even the Lello Bookstore, which, although it was closed, the guide made just as interesting from the outside. The grand finale is amazing: the cable car in Gaia + the 6 Bridges cruise on the Douro River. Seeing the city from the water is on another level. Very well organized, enjoyable, and with a guide who really knows how to engage you. If you want to truly understand Porto, this tour is absolutely worth it.
