The Grand Egyptian Museum is genuinely breathtaking. From the moment you arrive, the scale, light, and architecture feel monumental yet elegant. Seeing Egypt’s history displayed with such care and modern storytelling is unreal — it finally matches the greatness of the civilization itself. The galleries flow beautifully, the design is world-class, and the views of the pyramids are just wow. It feels like Egypt stepping confidently into the future while honoring its past. A must-see, even if you think you’ve “done” museums before.

It is very informative and amazing to put together the history that people have almost forgotten. The highlight for me was how the security helped us. After 1 1/2 hours of moving around, I noticed that my husband does not have his bag. He just remembered that he may have forgotten it in one of the security entries. Thank God, he returned with the bag, with all our passports and cards. He said that when the lady managing the scanner saw the bag that was left, she handed it over immediately to the security.

Wow!! What an amazing day it was! Its modern design, massive scale, and proximity to the Pyramids of Giza make it a truly remarkable gateway to Egypt’s ancient history. With thousands of artifacts—many displayed for the first time, including the full Tutankhamun collection—the museum offers an immersive blend of archaeology, architecture, and storytelling. It’s not just a museum, but a monumental celebration of Egypt’s heritage and a must-visit destination for anyone interested in human civilization.

A MUST for Egypt fans. Very well designed architecture for wheelchair users and baby carriages. Despite the large number of people, there are always opportunities to retreat with a view of the pyramids to pause for a moment and sit down Great!

Honestly, it's a must-do no matter what. However I had taken with the option a bottle of water, a cold drink and a hot drink but I was not entitled although I had paid the formula above. I had to call my interlocutor and I only got the bottle without paying extra. Apart from that, the evening was pleasant even if I regret that the dinner started before leaving and that the people on starter course dessert at the same time. It would be better to offer 3 courses to avoid people rushing around for nothing, as the quantities are quite sufficient for everyone. I'd still recommend it, as the starter alone is magnificent.

Very exciting. Cool shows. I liked it. The ship is big and beautiful. I just think the food could be better. When we bought it, the description said that the buffet was international, but it isn't. 90% of the food is typical Egyptian food, so there aren't many options for those who don't like Egyptian food. For the price we paid, they could improve this. The meat was all fat.

There's so much to see in this new museum that the last thing you want to do is waste time queuing for a ticket. Preferably a ticket giving access at any time and on days when the museum is closed late (Saturday, Wednesday)
