I booked through headout and was unsure if it was legitimate because the price was so much more reasonable - but it was all very well organised. Communication was great, shuttle pickup was on time. We flew with Skyway Balloons and the pilot and crew were fantastic!! Floating amongst hundreds of balloons for sunrise was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had!

Everything went really great. Be wary of the hot air balloon rides offered by travel agencies (in our case, it was €300 per person), and with Headout, we did it on June 6 at 4:30 a.m., in the Göreme Valley, flying over the fairy chimneys for €59 per person. A huge difference for a top-notch service in terms of punctuality, friendliness, and quality. I’ll recommend this agency (I have to admit I was initially skeptical) because of the price difference, but having seen it firsthand, they handle everything brilliantly. They send you the tickets or code right away and then keep in touch via email and WhatsApp with hotel pickup times, etc. Keep up the good work and let’s do away with the exploitative middlemen (in our case, Grandvoyage), who do nothing but inflate prices and discourage tourists from taking many excursions due to their exorbitant rates.

The experience was great, and definitely worth it, but dealing with the local operator was quite complicated. We were leaving at 4:45 a.m., but we didn't find out the pickup time until midnight. I thought there wasn't much time between the activity and finding out the pickup time.

The pilot and assistants were very professional, which is probably the most important thing for a hot-air balloon flight. The equipment was also of excellent quality. However, we didn’t get any breakfast. Since we had to wait two hours for takeoff clearance between 4:00 and 6:00 a.m. (which isn’t the company’s fault—clearance is granted by the airport based on weather conditions), breakfast would have been welcome. Furthermore, the flight lasted 33 minutes instead of the expected 45 to 60 minutes. That’s a shame.
