Getting started

Arrive at the meeting point for check-in, driving document verification, and a short safety briefing before preparing for the guided route.

Tokyo old-town route

Tokyo Skytree, Asakusa, Ueno, Akihabara, Tokyo Station, Tokyo Imperial Palace, Ryogoku Kokugikan, and the Japanese Sword Museum form part of this guided city route.

What to bring

Bring your passport, valid driving license, and accepted International Driving Permit (IDP).

Ensure your IDP is issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention for use in Japan.

Guests from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, and Taiwan must bring a Japanese translation of their license.

U.S. Forces members must bring a SOFA permit or state license with active-duty military ID.

Wear shoes or sandals, as barefoot participation is not permitted.

What’s not allowed

Guests without the required driving documents cannot join the experience.

Alcohol, drugs, and intoxication are strictly prohibited during the tour.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the vehicle.

Large luggage and baby carriages are not permitted during the experience.

Pets are not permitted on the tour.

Barefoot participation is not allowed.

Additional information

Guests must hold a valid Japanese license or an accepted license with an International Driving Permit.

Overseas guests must present their passport, driving license, and IDP before the tour.

Tours are limited to a maximum of 10 participants.
