Tokyo: Shibuya 60-Min Go-Kart Street Driving Experience

Take a different route through Tokyo with a 60-minute electric go-kart street driving experience. Dress up in a cosplay costume, personalize your kart, and follow a guide through the city's lively streets for a memorable urban adventure.

Getting started

Arrive at the SCRAMBLE KART TOKYO base near Harajuku at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. The team will check your original driving documents against the details submitted during the pre-check process, so make sure you have all the required paperwork ready. Your bags can be stored at the base while you get ready for the ride.

What to expect

• Choose a cosplay costume and change before your adventure begins. The team will provide a helmet and safety vest to wear during the drive.

• Pick a body design from the options on display. Your chosen design will be applied to the kart you drive, and staff can photograph you in costume alongside it before departure.

• Join a safety briefing in Japanese and English covering kart operation and convoy rules. A practice lap on the premises gives you time to get familiar with the throttle and brakes before entering the city.

• Follow your guide along the designated street route, keeping with the convoy and obeying traffic signals. Depending on the assigned route, you may pass the famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing and experience the energy of Tokyo from street level.

• Stop at designated points along the route for photos and enjoy the city scenery along the way. Optional GoPro rental and video editing services are available if you want to record more of your drive.

Once the 60-minute go-kart experience ends, return to the Harajuku base, hand back your gear, and change out of your costume. You'll also receive a commemorative photo as a keepsake from your Tokyo street driving adventure.
