Getting started
Arrive at the venue and check in before the scheduled start time, as late arrivals cannot be accommodated once the program begins. The experience takes place in a relaxed event space in Kyoto rather than a traditional ochaya tea house.

Traditional Kyoto dinner: Enjoy a meal prepared by a long-established Kyoto restaurant specializing in shidashi-style cuisine, a traditional local catering style known for delicate flavors and dashi-based dishes.
Tea ceremony demonstration: Watch the Maiko perform a traditional tea ceremony with graceful movements and refined etiquette. Guests can also upgrade to a hands-on tea-making experience.
Maiko dance performance: Observe two elegant traditional dances performed by the Maiko, with themes inspired by Japanese seasons, romance, and daily life.
Q&A session: Ask questions directly and learn about the Maiko’s training, routines, appearance, and life in Kyoto’s traditional entertainment world.
Interactive game with Maiko: Join or watch a lively traditional game often played during Maiko hospitality gatherings, creating a fun and engaging cultural interaction.

The venue building does not have an elevator and requires stair access.

A Geiko may appear instead of a Maiko, depending on availability.
English translation support is available on request, where possible.
Late arrivals may not be admitted once the program begins.
Guests not participating in the experience cannot enter the venue.
Children under 2 may join free on a parent’s lap; seats and meals cost extra.
Optional upgrades include tea ceremony participation and premium seating closer to the stage.
Cancellation and date-change fees apply according to the booking policy.
