First, the time of day. We chose the evening, when the whole city is lit up. At this time of day and of year, there are very few people around, and there are no lines for the elevators. Once we got to the top, the lack of crowds allowed us to take our time and enjoy ourselves while taking photos.

Galata Tower itself was stunning. The view from the top was spectacular at night. However(!!!), this site falsely advertised these tickets as being "skip the line" tickets. There was no difference in the line. We had to wait in line just like everybody else. Also, Galata Tower only opened at 7 PM. The tickets falsely listed the hours of Galata Tower differently so we arrived at 6pm and had to wait in line for an hour. Bad ticket experience, great attraction.

The entry was quick and easy and the views from the tower are spectacular. ❤️ I totally recommend it even if you are scared of heights, the external fence is high enough, so there's no need to worry.

The ticket is valid for the entire day within the venue’s operating hours (Monday–Sunday: 8:30am–10pm; Saturday until 11pm).

During high season, especially in summer, you may encounter wait times to enter the monument.
