Not just that, the 42-meter-long reproduction of a 17th-century Genoese galley will leave you in awe of Genoa's seafaring legacy.

The Galata Museo del Mare is not just about artefacts. It’s an immersive experience that takes you through four fundamental ages of seafaring. Relive the tales of Genoese explorers, the excitement of the Age of Sail, the bustling era of steam-powered emigration, and the tribulations of modern migrations. An engaging exhibition will also take you through the ill-fated history Andrea Doria. You haven’t got to the best part yet! Your visit also includes an exclusive access to the S-518 Nazario Sauro submarine, the world’s first museum submarine that can we visited in water. This particular submarine is a relic of Italian Navy from 1980 to 2002 and an experience like no other.
