A standard exhibition ticket is the default choice for most visitors. Use combined or multi-exhibition tickets only when more than one current show interests you and you can give the visit about 2–4 hours.

If free or discounted entry periods are offered, confirm the exact conditions on the official site before you go. The research document notes that these policies can change by exhibition and may be busier than paid slots.

Pre-booking mainly saves the onsite ticket-purchase queue. It does not skip security, bag checks, or the entrance scan, so arrive about 10–15 minutes early if you have a timed ticket.

Do not assume an audio guide is included. Standard admission is generally self-guided with wall texts and labels, and guided tours or audio guides are only included when a ticket is explicitly labeled that way.

Plan about 1–2 hours per venue, or about 90 minutes for a single exhibition if you like to read labels selectively. Combined tickets make more sense for art and photography enthusiasts than for tight city itineraries.

If you carry a large backpack or umbrella, leave extra time at entry. Visitors may be asked to use a cloakroom or lockers where provided, which can slow down an otherwise quick museum visit.
