LOVED this tour!! Went solo, but felt like I was just hanging out with friends. Our guide, Giorgio, was a total legend—knew all these random facts about the buildings we passed, plus kept us laughing the whole time. The food? Omg, do NOT eat before you come, they keep bringing you stuff. My fave was the fried artichokes, never had anything like it. Got a bit stuffed but nobody rushed us. Def coming back with my sister next year.

I’m not usually a tour person but my boyfriend talked me into this—so glad I did! Our guide, Eliana, was super sweet and really passionate about Roman food. Loved that she remembered everyone’s names. The suppli at the first stop was crunchy perfection. It was soooo hot outside but the shaded streets helped. Would recommend doing this on your first night in Rome to get all the local tips.

Took the tour with my wife and two teens. Fun experience overall! Some places were pretty packed so we had to wait a bit for seats, but our guide made it interesting with stories about the Jewish Ghetto. The pizza bianca was a HIT with my son. Wish we’d had a bit more time at the last spot, felt a tad rushed there. Still a great way to see Rome and eat some YUMMY stuff.

Me and my mom had the BEST time. It was our first night in Rome, and this set such a good vibe for our trip. Our guide shared stories about every dish, even some family recipes. Got to try this cheese I can’t pronounce but wow, so creamy. If you’re nervous about walking a lot, don’t be—it’s all pretty chill.

Truly EPIC food tour! Went with my best friend and we laughed sooo much. Our guide was hilarious and somehow managed to keep us all together through the narrow streets. Special shoutout to the bakery stop—those cannoli are still on my mind. A bit crowded in Trastevere but worth it.
  • Eat your way through three of Rome’s most charming neighborhoods—Campo de’ Fiori, the Jewish Ghetto, and Trastevere—on this curated culinary adventure.

    Getting started

Your walking food tour begins in the vibrant Campo de’ Fiori, where Roman flavors come alive with local wine and market-fresh bites.

    Culinary itinerary

From here, you’ll sneak through a hidden passage into the Jewish Ghetto—Rome’s historic and culinary heart—where you’ll try iconic dishes like Jewish-style fried artichokes and ricotta-cherry pie made from century-old recipes. Crossing into Trastevere, the atmosphere shifts to charming cobbled streets and buzzing trattorias. Here, you’ll enjoy slow-cooked amatriciana pasta at Spirito di Vino, a restaurant housed in a 2,000-year-old wine cellar—and yes, you’ll raise a glass of prosecco down there too. Along the way, you’ll sample creamy mozzarella, porchetta sandwiches, and finish with a scoop (or two) of authentic gelato.

Whether you join the morning tour with a visit to the bustling Campo market or opt for the evening experience with traditional Roman street food, this is Rome the local way—one bite at a time.
