The sightseeing tour was great; the seats were comfortable, and the waitstaff were friendly. I’d suggest improving the menu— the salmon and the ricotta-and-spinach strudel were excellent. The instructions for picking up the tickets could be improved, since you end up picking them up on the ship anyway.

It was a lovely way to finish off what has been a wonderful first visit to Vienna. The departure point was easy enough to find, although the office where we should have collected the tickets had closed early, but this was sorted out as we boarded. The meal was enjoyable, although the courses were spaced out throughout the journey. We went down and bought some chips to keep us going before the main course arrived. The two waiters serving the drinks and food on the top deck were kept very busy. We didn't spot any of the well-known landmarks but enjoyed seeing other buildings and shipping, such as houseboats and river cruise ships previously seen on TV. The lock was an interesting experience and it was great to see the sunset over the Danube, and the lights along the canalside as darkness fell. Would recommend the trip.

The atmosphere and the boat ride were wonderful. The staff on site were friendly and very efficient. The meal we ordered was fantastic. Unfortunately (and this was the case for some guests), the start was a bit confusing. According to the email, we were supposed to pick up the tickets at the booth. But the ticket counter was closed. That’s why “only” 4 out of 5 stars

The food was delicious, the drink prices were reasonable, and the staff was very friendly. The only downside was that the Danube Canal wasn't as pretty as we'd hoped. There was a lot of graffiti, and in the evening, you couldn't see very far while we were eating.
