The Erotic Museum Barcelona was Spain’s first museum dedicated to erotic art and opened its doors in 1997.
The museum houses over 800 artifacts, including rare Kama Sutra manuscripts, Japanese shunga prints, and vintage European erotica.
A mini-cinema inside the museum showcases early Spanish erotic films commissioned by King Alfonso XIII.
Visitors are welcomed with a complimentary glass of cava, which can be enjoyed in the museum’s lush Erotic Garden.
The museum is located directly on La Rambla, opposite the famous Boqueria market, making it easy to combine with other city attractions.

The Erotic Museum’s sole entrance is located at La Rambla 96 bis, directly opposite the famous La Boqueria market. Look for the discreet doorway between Plaça de Catalunya and Port Vell. Please note: the museum is housed in a historic building and is not wheelchair or stroller accessible—entry is via stairs only, with no elevator available. Visitors must be 18+ and may be asked for ID at entry.
Regular Hours: Open daily from 10:00am to midnight (12:00am), including weekends and most holidays.
Last Entry: Final admission is at 11:30pm.
