SoloVerified bookingLast week5/5This tour of Prague Castle also includes a walk across the Charles Bridge, and it was a wonderful experience for me thanks to the guide, who explained everything about the bridge and the castle’s exterior and interior in a precise and detailed manner. The tour proved to be of great cultural significance and of great historical and political interest. I still remember most of the information the guide shared with me in great detail, thanks to the clarity of the content and because he speaks Italian very fluently and correctly, even though his native language is Czech. I also appreciated the tour because of the punctuality of the guide and the team, as well as the professionalism and kindness with which I was treated. I highly recommend this tour—not only for the reasons mentioned so far, but also for the beauty of the sites and because the castle is a grand architectural complex that features a layering of styles, making it one-of-a-kind, splendid, and a must-see for anyone visiting the city. Thank you, Headout.JJoana A
CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5The tour was fantastic! Even with an intense heatwave, our guide, Peter, managed to make the visit both incredibly fun and extremely informative. There wasn’t a single dull or slow moment. Another really interesting detail was that this same Peter was one of the guides who toured Prague with Dan Brown while he was writing Secret of Secrets. As for the company itself, I also really appreciated the fact that they took the time to contact us to confirm whether we were still coming, since it was getting close to the start time and we still hadn’t reached the meeting point.CCharles M
CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago4/5The tour of St Vitus was very informative. Unfortunately we missed the start of the tour. We assumed that the Prague Castle tour would start at the Prague Castle, unfortunately for us that's not the case! Had we read the directions we'd have seen that it starts at the Charles Bridge. One recommendation would be in the confirmation to highlight that the meeting point is Not The Castle. It sounds as though we weren't the first to experience this. The tour company did a good job reconnecting us with the group.LLance M
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5What I liked best were the cathedral and its beautiful stained-glass windows. The castle is huge, but only a small part of it is open to the public. The tour was very interesting, and our guide was very knowledgeable about history, though after an hour or two it started to get a bit tiring.SSteingaß M
CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5Robert is the perfect guide because, in addition to his excellent knowledge of history—and not just Czech history—he conveys it in a way that is both accessible and entertaining for everyone. His German is flawless, and he answers all questions calmly and in detail. Robert comes highly recommended.

Your adventure begins at the Malostranská metro station, where you'll meet your guide. Board a scenic tram ride up to Prague Castle, enjoying beautiful city views as you ascend. Once there, skip the lines and delve into the castle complex with your expert guide, who can unveil its secrets in English, Italian, German, Spanish, or French. In the Old Royal Palace, see the Vladislav Hall, the very site of the infamous Defenestration of Prague that sparked the Thirty Years’ War. Step inside the magnificent St. Vitus Cathedral and look out for the stained glass windows and 14th-century mosaic. See the tombs of revered figures like St. Wenceslas and Charles IV, learning about their significance in Czech history.
A journey through time
Continue to the St. George's Basilica, contrasting its serene atmosphere with the castle's grandeur. Admire the fragments of ancient frescoes and ascend the double staircase, where the remains of St. Ludmila rest. No visit is complete without exploring Golden Lane, a charming alley lined with colorful cottages. Discover the lives of artists and goldsmiths who once resided here, including the legendary Franz Kafka. Throughout your tour, insightful commentary from your guide will bring the castle complex to life, revealing hidden stories and fascinating facts, like the legend of alchemists seeking gold within the Golden Lane's walls.
