Climbing St. Peter's Dome was an incredible experience: the steps seem to never end, but every step offers excitement and spectacular views. The climb is tiring, especially in the narrowest and steepest sections, but reaching the top is worth every effort: Rome from above is simply breathtaking. The inside of the dome is also impressive, with mosaics, architectural details, and a view that becomes more and more evocative as you climb towards the summit. An experience to try at least once: get ready for many steps, a bit of breathlessness, and a view you will hardly forget!

St. Peter's Basilica is a stunning and immense work of art; every corner is magnificently decorated, and it is the largest basilica in all of Italy. We took the elevator to skip the first 200 steps leading up to the dome, and then we climbed more than 300 steps to reach the top and admire the view—it was well worth it. The stairs are very narrow and sometimes follow the dome’s slope, but they give you a real sense of the architecture of this masterpiece. Headout is always top-notch—easy entry and an audio guide.

Once we received the tickets (albeit late the day before!) everything went smoothly. The instructions were clear, meaning where/what entrance to go to, instructions on what to bring and wear. We had taken the audio guide option and it was pretty smooth to get, although everyone has to download the app first. Overall very good. Thanks
