Choose from six elephant care programs at Phuket Elephant Care, ranging from a short feeding visit to half-day activities and a full-day experience. Depending on your selection, you can prepare food, feed elephants, join a mud spa, bathe with them, or take part in a Thai cooking class.

Getting started

Select the program that fits your schedule and preferred activities. The morning and afternoon half-day programs combine food preparation, feeding, a mud spa, and lunch. Shorter options focus on feeding or feeding with a spa session. The full-day program takes place at the Naithon sanctuary and adds a jungle walk and Thai cooking class. What to expect

Feed and learn about elephants

Your visit introduces you to elephant care and the sanctuary's approach to looking after its herd. Depending on your program, you can help prepare food and feed the elephants while learning about their behavior and routines from the sanctuary team.

The feeding-only program is shorter and focuses on feeding the elephants, while the longer options include additional activities.

Join a mud spa and bathing session

The half-day program includes a mud spa and bathing activities. You can help apply mud to the elephants' skin and join them in the water, followed by a rain shower to rinse off the mud. The shorter Feed and Spa program includes feeding, a mud spa, and a rain shower.

Walk with elephants and explore Thai culture

The full-day program at Naithon includes a guided walk with elephants through the forest and activities related to preparing their food. You can also join a Thai cooking class focused on Pad Thai.
