My favorite spot was at the base of the Eiffel Tower. People often focus on the rest of the structure, but this part really inspired me!!! I was able to appreciate the architecture and see just how massive it is. Our guide was extraordinary: she knows the area inside and out, she’s interactive, and she gets us involved. We ask questions, and she answers them. She makes us laugh. She can compare the heights of several world-famous buildings—like the Empire State Building and the Skype Tower in Toronto—with the Eiffel Tower. She knows the history of this building inside and out, and the way she tells it to us is so vivid!!!! We’ll take the Seine river cruise very soon—it was hot, but it was truly amazing!!!!

It was a negative experience because I thought the guide would be inside the Tower. However, after figuring out where to go—and due to bad weather, as there was a storm that lasted about 15 minutes—I arrived at the meeting point at 7:05 p.m., and the tour was scheduled for 7:00 p.m. I couldn’t find the guide anymore, and my wife and I lost 118 euros, and I had to pay extra to go up the Tower. I tried to explain what had happened, but it was no use. At 6:20 p.m., I was inside the Tower and didn’t know I was supposed to go to a meeting point outside—partly because I didn’t know the language very well—and by the time I figured out where to go, I’d lost some time. In the meantime, a storm had rolled in, and I arrived at the meeting point 5 minutes late, only to find that they had already left. The bottom line is that I lost my money and had to pay again to go up the Tower without being able to take the boat tour on the Seine.

The Eiffel Tower was magical! We had stunning views of the sourounding area, including Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, and others. The Eiffel Tower is iconic, and is a "must-do" experience in Paris. We had to deal with the extreme tempuratures of 42 C and that closed the tower on our scheduled visit. However, the tour guide accomodated us so we made the tour the next morning when the lines were short and the temps were relatively cool. We took the river cruise in the mid-day, but suggest an evening river cruise followed by visiting the tower in the evening because the experience is epic with beautiful night views and shorter wait times. And don't forget to watch the tower sparkle at 11pm at night. We recommend going up to the second floor only, not to the top.

The tour guide was knowledgable and friendly. What I did not like is I thought one of the benefits of going with a tour was that the tickets would already be obtained. That was not the case so instead we all stood on line for almost an hour to access the Eiffel tower. Unlike the Eiffel ticket, the ticket to the cruise had already been obtained by the tour guide so that was handed to me. Unfortunately, when I got boat side the line was hundreds and hundreds of people long, so I just took the hit and skipped it. Of course that is no fault of the tour company. Also so much of what the tour guide said we could not hear as we were on line in a line. She should consider speaking from the middle and not the front.

Despite what initially seemed an unusual pick up point, very well organised tour. Laura, our guide was really lovely and as we approached the tower, gave us a brief history. There was no waiting at the security points. Once on the second floor, there was a wait of around 30 minutes to get to the top- this applied to everyone. Amazing views at the top. Despite the queues to get up, it was not too crowded I finished the day eith a beautiful cruise down the Seine. I timed it right as no queue. It looked very busy on our return! Great day. Would recommend.
