We were due to go in at 1.30, but arrived at Versailles around 11 and were stlll able to start our tour straight away. We visited the gardens and parkland extensively using a golf cart we hired on the day. We visited for about 6 hours and did see most of the castle and grounds. Highly recommended visit.

My visit to the museum was satisfactory. The audio guide app was not very convenient, requiring a long download time, and each file had to be downloaded separately. Additionally, the mobile network and internet hardly worked on the museum grounds. However, the most disappointing part of the visit was a ticketing error for my friend. We purchased the same tickets using the same link for the same amount. But at the entrance to the gardens, it turned out that she received the wrong ticket, which included only one part of the museum, and she had to pay separately for everything else. She ended up paying for a full ticket (32 euros) plus an additional entrance fee to the gardens (12 euros if I am not mistaken), and we missed out on two more parts of the museum due to this error. The most frustrating part was that technical support did not resolve the issue, simply stating that it was not their problem and refusing to exchange the ticket or refund part of the cost. As a result, this museum visit was too expensive and left us in a bad mood, unfortunately.

Great visit to the château. The gardens are magnificent, the only downside being the lack of more precise directions along the paths. It's hard to find your way around. But we had a great day.

Important Information

Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is the only timed experience of this combo and will require you to be there at the exact given time. The Seine cruise tickets are valid for the entire day and can be redeemed at your convenience.
Once you’re done enjoying the views on the 2nd level of the Eiffel Tower, you may take the elevators back down. Fair warning, these can have long queues. If you wish to bypass these long lines, we’d suggest you take the stairs down.

Versailles Palace

Tip: It's recommended to visit the Grand Apartments after 3pm and visit the Trianon Palace & Gardens before that.
This ticket is valid for one-time entry only.
With these tickets, you will be able to skip the ticket office and head straight to the entrance at Gate A. However, please know that depending on the day of your visit, there may be a security wait of anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Note that you can only visit the gardens & Trianon Palace before or after the Grand Apartments visit. The time allocated to you grants you a reserved entrance for the Grand Apartments, but you are free to visit the Trianon Palace & gardens whenever you like.
