Pros - The guide was very friendly, the route and scenery were excellent, and there seemed to be unlimited wine. Lunch was fantastic, easily the best meal we had during our 11-night stay in Spain and Portugal. Cons - There was little explanation about the wine, no real mention of Port or the history of the Port houses, and the wine offered wasn’t local. The walk from the boat to the bank at the end was steep, and there was no mention of whether a train ticket was included.

The crew were amazing with our guide Jesus making it an informative and superbly enjoyable sunset cruise. Local historical knowledge linked with a keen sense of humour and joy made it a memorable trip along a beautiful valley.
