To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with an incident that occurred at your venue on [13th, April,2025], which significantly impacted my family’s experience. As the parent of a child diagnosed with autism, I wish to highlight concerns regarding the conduct of one of your staff members and the lack of sensitivity demonstrated during our visit. Prior to our arrival, we purchased e-tickets online. Upon entering the premises, we were uncertain about the correct entry point for pre-booked tickets and respectfully joined a queue at the ticket counter. A staff member (a woman stationed at the gate) was assisting another customer at the time. To avoid disruption, we waited patiently for over 10 minutes until her interaction concluded. During this time, my son, aware that we had already secured tickets and eager to enter, approached the gate. The staff member, who had been courteous to previous guests, abruptly raised her voice and instructed him to “back off” the gate. Although my son complied immediately by stepping away, she continued to shout at him aggressively, demanding he move even farther back. Her tone and demeanor were unnecessarily hostile and deeply distressing, particularly given my son’s condition, which can make abrupt confrontations overwhelming. What troubled me further was the stark contrast in her behavior toward us compared to other visitors. Her dismissive and aggressive attitude appeared discriminatory, and I perceived undertones of racial bias in her conduct. This interaction not only humiliated my son but also overshadowed our entire visit, leaving our family deeply upset. As an organization that serves the public, I trust you prioritize inclusivity, accessibility, and respectful treatment of all guests, including those with disabilities. The staff member’s actions directly contradicted these values. I urge you to: 1. Investigate this incident thoroughly, including reviewing any available CCTV footage or witness accounts. 2. Provide mandatory training for staff on autism awareness and de-escalation techniques for guests with sensory or communication needs. 3. Address the apparent lack of empathy and possible racial bias in this staff member’s conduct. 4. Clarify entry procedures for e-ticket holders to prevent confusion for future visitors. Our family has always valued your venue as a place of enjoyment and education, and we hope to see tangible improvements in your staff’s approach to inclusivity. Thank you for your attention to this serious concern. Sincerely, L HeMichael

Unlock non-stop fun at Australia’s largest theme park
A world of excitement awaits at Dreamland with 40+ rides and attractions. If you prefer your fun with a healthy dose of adrenaline, you’ll love The Claw, a powerful pendulum that swings you 8 stories high while spinning 360 degrees. The park's latest addition, Jungle Rush, will take you on a high-octane ride past lush landscapes and ancient relics. Tail Spin straps you into a mini airplane and whips through the air while offering a bird's eye view of Ocean Parade. The best part? You get to take control and decide whether to spin away or remain stationary.
If you are enjoying a day out with your kids, the family-friendly and kid-friendly attractions offer slightly less thrill that will still leave everyone delighted. Hop into a 1911 vintage Ford replica and go on a road trip; you might just spot a koala if you keep your eyes on the trees. The Sky Voyager takes the whole fam on a trip across 12 regions of Australia, complete with motion-programmed seating and special effects such as sound, light, wind, mist, and scents. Murrissippi Motors takes you on a scenic drive through Rivertown’s lush landscapes, past hidden treasures, and the rustic charm of the Tasman garage.
Visiting during Queensland and New South Wales school holidays? You’ll get something extra to deal with the peak crowds - a bonus ticket that lets you bypass the queue for 1 ride on the day of your visit.
Get close to Australian wildlife
The theme park doubles as a wildlife conservation park. Dreamworld’s Tiger Island is the only place on the Gold Coast where you can go close to the majestic wild cats. Children can crawl through viewing tunnels into the enclosure, and daily tiger presentations let you enjoy all the activities they would perform in the wild such as jumping, climbing, and swimming. In addition to tigers, you will find favorites from Aussie wildlife including kangaroos, crocs, and koalas.
Upgrade to maximize your Gold Coast adventure. A 2 or 3-day pass to SkyPoint and WhiteWater World offers unbeatable value, allowing you to experience the best of the Gold Coast without breaking the bank.
