1500 hrs/July 2026. Easy entry and no lines. Hot, stuffy and crowded inside the palace. Many interesting items, fine art and furnishings. My advice is to go early in order to see everything. We went too late in the day and missed some parts we would have liked to have seen. Our fault. The palace and grounds are beautiful. Definitely recommend!

There were no skip the line queue when we were there and it was a waste of our money to pay extra... and we feel like we were being con! Very disappointed.

Just We received the code for Sophia but not the ones for the cistern. It’s not worth going to Sophia right now—Mievtats is under renovation. The cistern is impressive, but a young woman had to help us because I never received the codes for the entrance; she had to write to the ticket provider to have them sent to us.

The tour was nice, but we didn't have audio guides because we had to pick them up before getting in line at the entrance. Before we knew it, we had to go back and get in line all over again.

Visited Dolmabahçe Palace and honestly, it lived up to the hype. The place is unreal, the detail, the size, the chandelier… everything feels next level. Booking tickets online was straightforward and saved time. We walked straight in with no hassle, other than queing for scurity check-in, ehich was pretty quick despite the queue being long. The audio guide was actually worth using, eveb though one of then did pkay up a little, but it added proper context to what you’re seeing. We even managed to take so many photos inside, which made it even better because it’s one of those places you want to remember properly. The Bosphorus views from inside the palace are stunning, and the whole experience just feels grand from start to finish. Only thing, it can get busy, so timing matters. Overall, definitely worth it if you’re in Istanbul. Not just another tourist spot, this one actually delivers.
