This Bosphorus cruise was truly the highlight of my trip to Istanbul. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, with no stress or waiting. The private table added a special touch, and the four-course dinner was delicious and beautifully presented. The live show really elevated the atmosphere – the combination of music, performances, and energy on board was amazing. But what truly takes your breath away is the view of Istanbul at night, the bridges, and landmarks as you sail between two continents. The dining was spectacular at first glance we thought we were in a fairytale, the moment we reached our table there was a plate of starters already waiting for us and at quality it tasted amazing each flavor sparking delight and experience. The cruise in its self was an experience worthy of breathtaking scenery and the entertainment was outstanding making the trip a must go to when visiting Istanbul. Dolmabahcec Palace was amazing! The audio guide was great. The dinner cruise was disappointing. Wait staff was fantastic! They worked so hard and did everything possible to make you feel taken care of. Unfortunately, the food was cold. The music was so LOUD it honestly hurt my ears. My husband and I had a table for two and had to text to each other just to converse. TV monitors on the ship should be used to display the stage show instead of displaying highlight of of show. Perhaps if the passengers could see the show easier, they would not be trying to stand up to see all the time. Although I know it upset some passengers, I did appreciate the staff asking people to sit down during the dance performances.

I’d give the palace 5 stars because it’s wonderful—a must-see. The “cruise” was a total disaster: we left half an hour late, the dinner was awful and terrible, the boat just circled around one bridge—no Hagia Sophia or Blue Mosque. The shows were going well until the belly dance started; I’ve been to bachelor parties where the strippers are more tasteful than these—a real embarrassment—and the finale with the saxophonist was enough to deafen us since the volume was so loud it was impossible to stay inside. So, if you end up on the boat called “Amor,” cancel it.

The ticket said to be at the hotel reception 10-15 minutes before the cruise for the transfer. We arrived at our hotel about 30 minutes before the cruise and the hotel receptionist told us that the transfer had already left and left because we were not there. The transfer had come about 45 minutes before the cruise. Fortunately, thanks to the hotel receptionist, we were able to move the same cruise to the next day because it was not our fault that the transfer came so early. The next day we went to dinner and everything was great. Only instead of a 4-course dinner, there was a 3-course dinner.

Delicious food and a great atmosphere. However, there are almost nonstop performances (folk dances, oriental dances, traditional dances) with extremely loud music, even while we’re eating. The volume is so high that you can’t have a conversation, and eventually you end up with a headache. What a shame! It would make sense to scale back the program and stick to just a few individual performances instead. It was all very overwhelming and, in the end, didn’t do anyone any good.
