From Athens: Day Trip to Delphi Site & Museum

Great—I didn’t get sick, the ride was smooth and beautiful—truly unforgettable. The guide was passionate and engaging; she gave a great explanation of the mythology at the various sites we passed by bus and then visited in person. The tour was pretty quick, which suited me just fine, but we stayed at the archaeological site for about an hour and then at the museum for 50 minutes. You can move around as you like, though—it’s up to you. The restaurant in the village was nice; I’m glad I opted for the included meal. Be sure to get your tour tickets in advance—it makes things easier for everyone. A magnificent trip—I was nervous at first, but I’m so glad I took the plunge.

Nice Busride, nice tourguide, and the landscape and Delphi itself are very beautiful. While it was apparent that the Tourguide struggled a bit with english, it was not a problem, and she told interesting stories during the busride. Delphinis a large areal, so if you take your time with the archeological site you might not have enough time to see everything inside the museum.

Everything went perfectly. Our guide, Natasha, shared a lot of valuable information about the place and led the group with great harmony and tact. The schedule was followed very punctually.

Our tour guide Dimitri was knowlegable and knew so much about the site, and our driver Stamati got us there safely. Had an excellent time at Delphi, the museum and Arachova!

The guide’s kindness, and all the stories and anecdotes about Greece. The beauty of the site. A perfect day. The only thing was that we didn’t realize how challenging the tour would be, especially given the altitude compared to Athens

It was a really nice trip. The company have everything under control. They are in touch with you through WhatsApp before the trip to inform you about anything you need. During the trip our guide was really nice and provide us with some really interesting historical data. We took the ticket with the entrance included what I do recome d to avoid the huge queue to buy tickets there. We also have a good lunch at a restaurant that the guide recommended (good and cheap) I absolutely recommend the journey.
