Es war so einfach, Tickets online zu kaufen. Selbst ein älteres Semester wie ich kam problemlos damit zurecht. Die bereitgestellten Zusatzinformationen waren hervorragend. Das Museum selbst war atemberaubend, schon ab dem Moment, als wir hineingegangen sind. Die Architektur war unglaublich und die kunstvollen Verzierungen einfach umwerfend. Jeder einzelne Saal, ob es nun um Kunst, tschechische Geschichte oder Weltgeschichte ging, war so durchdacht und ansprechend gestaltet, und jede Ausstellung zog uns direkt zur nächsten. Unser Besuch wird uns als Teil einer unvergesslichen Reise in die wunderschöne Stadt Prag in Erinnerung bleiben. Ich muss auch sagen, dass das Museum ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bot.

Wunderschönes Museum über die tschechische Geschichte, mit antiken Artefakten, der Evolution des Menschen, den Tieren und Erklärungen zur Urgeschichte, mit lebensechten Nachbildungen und auch echten Stücken. Wahrscheinlich die schönste und größte Mineraliensammlung, die ich je in meinem Leben gesehen habe, einfach fantastisch.

Das Nationalmuseum in Prag ist eines der besten Naturkundemuseen der Welt. Die Ausstellungen haben uns absolut begeistert. Der Ticketkauf über Headout war unkompliziert und hat uns eine ziemlich lange Warteschlange erspart, obwohl wir schon zur Öffnung des Museums um 10 Uhr da waren.

Das Museum war toll, aber der Ticketkauf über Headout war ziemlich nervenaufreibend, da die Tickets nicht sofort ankamen und es hieß, dass es bis zu 2 Stunden dauern könnte – und das, während ich schon am Museumseingang stand.

Ich war von der Architektur des Gebäudes beeindruckt, sowohl von außen als auch von innen. Die Deckenmalereien sind prachtvoll. Mir hat auch die Tierausstellung gefallen, ebenso wie die Kristallausstellung.

Your ticket covers the Museum Complex, with access to current and long-term exhibitions across the Historical Building and New Building, except the Czech Press Photo exhibition and Children's Museum.

Both Old and New Town options include the same access inside the Prague National Museum complex as the base ticket, along with non-commercial photography without flash or tripod, and use of the free cloakroom, golf carts, walkers, and wheelchairs.

What to bring

Tickets: Bring your e-tickets printed or stored on your mobile phone for entry.

Disability ID or cards: Carry valid disability or membership cards if you plan to use free admission.

Accessibility

Wheelchair access: The Museum Complex is wheelchair accessible, except for the dome and upper floors of the Children's Museum.

Disabled parking: Disabled parking is in the Historical Building basement, with reservation at least 1 working day in advance.

Mobility aids: You can borrow golf carts, walkers, and wheelchairs for free at the museum.

What's not allowed

Children's Museum access: Your ticket does not include entry to the Children's Museum or Czech Press Photo exhibition.

Pushchairs in Children's Museum: You cannot enter the Children's Museum with a pushchair.

Large items inside: You cannot take backpacks or luggage over 40 × 30 × 20 cm or umbrellas into the exhibitions.

Additional information

Ticket validity: Your e-ticket is valid for 30 days from purchase for a one-time entry.

Building capacity: If the building is full, access is paused and waits are usually 30–45 minutes.

Family facilities: Changing tables are in all restrooms and a Kids' Corner is on the 4th floor of the New Building.

Children's Museum rules: It is intended for children 4+ and under-15s must be accompanied by an adult.

Pushchair entrance: With a pushchair, you must use the entrance to the New Building.
