Essen & Trinken in Porto

Me and my mother went to Douro Valley few days ago with this company. We visited 2 vineyard tasted high quality vines and eat launch than take a boat trip. Our guide was Claudia. My mother who travelled almost all country around the world and I agree that Claudia was the very best guide we ever met. She is very charismatic, talented and professional guide. We recommend this tour and Claudia as a guide and Carlos the driver.

A very nice experience in beautiful Douro Valley. Day trip in comfortable mini van with knowledgeable guide Pedro touring and sampling at 2 wineries, a nice lunch with wine, and a lovely one hour boat ride on the Douro River.

Die Weinverkostung war gut. Erwartungsmanagement war ein Problem. Es wurde erklärt, dass es sich eher um ein historisches Museum als um eine Weinprobe handelt. Es ist ein schöner Ort.

Ich empfehle diese Erfahrung allen, die nach Porto reisen. Es war interessant und lehrreich. Das Ticket-Erlebnis war einfach!

Ich habe am Meeting Point gewartet, es kam Keiner, um mich abzuholen. Ich bin dann zum Ticket office von Graham gegangen. Dort habe ich das Ticket erhalten. Graham hat eine tolle Führung gemacht, aber ich hätte das Erlebnis fast verpasst aufgrund des fehlenden lokalen guides.

Die Verkostung und Erklärung war großartig. Das einzige, was wir vermisst haben, war etwas, das zum Portwein passt. Wir wissen, dass es Verkostungen gibt, und ich bin sicher, dass sie die besten sind. Aber Portwein ohne Essen, egal wie wenig, kann es für manche Leute schwierig machen, ins Hotel zurückzukehren.

First off this is the tour you want. Our Guide Nuno has a degree in history and we learned lots about Portugal, the Douro and the land. He took us to two great wineries, both very different but great in their own ways. One was a big producer, but was doing everything ecologically. The second was a very small woman run winery with very unique wines. The lunch was incredible. Cooked over wood fires in a hundreds year old kitchen. Served with their own wines made on site. Fun, wonderful family run place. We spent so much time at the lunch that our boat tour had to be shorter. But that was fine as the weather was a bit rainy. I would highly recommend this tour as the guides were incredible and due to the small size of the group we were able to go to very small vineyards. Also they chose family run places where you get the feel of being part of the family.
