Český Krumlov is a medieval town in South Bohemia that deserves its place on the list of cultural heritage sites made by UNESCO. Admire the stunning architecture the city has to offer as you walk through its quaint streets. These narrow, winding streets of the historic centre are filled with Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings from the times of the Rožmberk, Eggenberg and Schwarzenberg noble families.
Explore the second largest castle in all of Prague that makes for a magnificent sight. Originally built in the 13th century, the castle was enlarged and rebuilt in the Renaissance style in the 16th century. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the castle was modified to include elements of the Baroque and Rococo styles of architecture. The castle complex comprises over 40 buildings, located around 5 courtyards and a massive seven-hectare castle garden. See several artefacts from medieval times, such as fantastic tapestries, skilled artwork, fancy furniture, and beautifully crafted weapons inside the legendary castle.

The trip commences from the Parking Na Příkopě 23, Prague 1. A guide will direct you through some of Český Krumlov’s narrow roads. The moment you set foot into Český Krumlov, it feels like you are taken back to the medieval age. The confluence of various styles of architecture, including Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance makes for a breathtaking sight. Your next stop is at a local restaurant. Here, you will be served mouth-watering, traditional Czech delicacies for lunch. After a filling lunch, you will get to view the second largest castle in the country, the Český Krumlov Castle.
The Vltava River flows behind this castle and provides a picturesque scene. You will also get to see the Cloak Bridge, a three-storeyed arched bridge that is set on huge stone pillars. It poses an incredible sight to tourists and connects two courtyards of the castle. By crossing the Cloak Bridge, you will move onto the V Castle Courtyard and then to the Castle Gardens. The garden of Český Krumlov is incredibly vast and offers a wonderful place to relax and soak in the beauty of the entire town. Stunning layouts of differently coloured flowers and a fountain built in the Rococo style are the main attractions of this garden. Since the garden is situated at a higher level, it offers spectacular views of the entire town of Český Krumlov.
