I liked Steve the guide - very charismatic person, captivated the audience for the introduction. The south gardens were unbelievably beautiful. However some of the plaques in the museums were incorrect and there were more than audio guides and it made it a bit confusing.

it was good that you used whatsapp to coomunicate as although I had downloaded the app and checked that my tickets were in the app, once I closed the app I had to go through the email link to find them again and I dont have email on my phone. All overcome with the whatsapp message but did not help when I first got to the castle. the audio guide was really thourough and had lots of info and may not have used a huge amount of data but it did drain the phone battery which meant we coukdnt listen to much of it.

The guided introduction was very interesting for understanding Prague's history. One point for improvement, however: the meeting point at the start of the tour. We were told to meet at point 3 of the complex and 15 minutes before the tour, so we waited in the wrong place. The complex is vast, so it's not practical.

The Prague Castle, along with it's various sites, was beautiful. It was easy to find the guide, and very helpful to have the 30 minutes (approximately) in-person overview by the local guide supplied for us. She was lovely and very informative. This both oriented and introduced us to each of the sites in the Castle grounds from one central location (beside the Great South Tower of the Cathedral), from which we were then able to easily proceed in exploring the grounds and sites therein. I would definitely recommend this option. One sad note: my friend and I were refused entry into St. George's Basilica when we showed up at 16:52, being 8 minutes before closing (we were unaware that it would close at 17:00). Despite still having 8 minutes left, our pleas to simply step in for 2 minutes were rudely turned down. This was a huge disappointment and frustration as all we wanted was to step in and step back out, and still had time to do so! It was unfair. If there is a "last entry time" which is other than the closing time, it would be helpful to be informed in advance so visitors can plan their visit accordingly.
