Weather aside (cool and rainy) this was a great day out from Edinburgh. Carys, our guide, was wonderful. She shared a lot of interesting historical information but also left us in peace to enjoy the Scottish tunes she played and the scenery (or a snooze). Tour was very well organized. Alnwick Castle is super impressive as was the town itself. Lindisfane is a charming wee village but be prepared for quite a walk if you want to go to the castle. We didn't have enough time so enjoyed the priory and a coffee in one of the cafes. I highly recommend this tour and Timberbush.

The trip was very well organised and the sights were incredible. Our guide Robert provided interesting context throughout and was actually quite funny. Our driver Adam navigated the famously tricky Highland roads very safely. A great experience all round.

It was a long ride through the scenic Scottish Highlands. I would preferred if a little bit of hiking was included, but overall I am satisfied with my trip.
